Students must meet the academic criteria of the graduate program throughout the period of the grant and the grant covers only tuition.

Usually, students are responsible for fees unless otherwise specified by university policy, although doctoral students may receive the award as a stipend during their third year.

The award is stackable and may be combined with other prizes but it cannot be combined with tuition remissions or waivers.

When paired with another prize, it must cover at least 80% of tuition. If the reward exceeds the cost of tuition when combined, the university will pay the difference to the student.
