2. Barbara Sanchez Scholarship Fund
- Deadline: July 15th
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) offers the Barbara Sanchez Scholarship Fund each year, which awards five $1,500 scholarships to professional chapter members obtaining a degree in human resource management from an authorized U.S. college with the goal of working in the media sector.

The Go Further in Human Resources Scholarship Program offers $2,000 to HR professionals who want to continue their education at the online Western Governor’s University of Texas in order to support their personal and professional development.

11. HR Leadership Scholarship Awards of Greater Washington
- Deadline: March 15th
The HR Leadership Scholarship Awards of Greater Washington are given out annually to current students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in human resource management with good academic achievement, as well as working human resources professionals.
The grants total $4,000. Although the program is accessible to all students living in Northern Virginia, Montgomery or Prince George’s County, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, at least one grant will be given to a Marymount University student each year.

12. IPMA-HR College Scholarship Program
- Deadline: June 6th
Every year, the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR) sponsors the College Scholarship Program, which gives two $1,000 awards to the children, stepchildren, and legal guardians of national members who are enrolled full-time, at least 15 credit hours per semester, in an accredited U.S. institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

The $1,000 J.C. Cote Scholarship for Human Resources, named in honor of a devoted member of the Arkansas SHRM State Council, is given out each year to current undergraduate and graduate students majoring in human resource management at accredited universities in Arkansas.
